Description
Caramel apples are a favorite fall treat—and a great way to use up a bounty of fruit from a U-pick orchard. The super-simple sauce is made by melting sugar until caramelized, with no other ingredients added. Use wooden skewers (or clean twigs) to dip the apples in the caramel, then roll them in chopped nuts or dried fruit, or sesame seeds, as desired. Allow them to set on a parchment-lined baking sheet before serving.
