  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 ounces grape tomatoes (3 oz. per 1 cup)
  • 4 basil leaves
  • 4 ounces low moisture mozzarella cheese (shredded, 4 oz. per 1 cup)
  • 1 ounce grated Parmesan cheese (1 oz. per 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange a rack to the lowest position in the oven.
    2. Poke the bottom of the frozen pie shell with a fork, and place on a baking sheet.

    Followed directions but added about 1/4 cup and shredded apple wood smoked bacon. The flavors were fantastic. My wife was even impressed. I will certainly make this again
