    This turned out really great despite the fact that I was missing a few ingredients. Had to use red wine instead of brandy. Dijon instead of grainy mustard and vegetable broth instead of beef. Still great!

    Boring flavour, added garlic powder, Worcester sauce, smoked paprika and horseradish. Made it with yoghurt instead of sour cream. Fried the onion and mushrooms (chestnut) very brown, so that have a lot of flavour and colour. Also added green beans. Very fast and easy recipe. Served with mash, gherkins and guindillas.

    Absolutely loved this recipe. I ended up using dijon mustard as that's what I had, as well as adding fresh herbs (thyme and oregano) I had handy. I also only had veggie bullion but it didn't seem to matter. Turned out very tasty and delicious over some German spatzl. I think this is a miles better alternative than having to use recipes that call for canned mushroom soup which probably has a lot more salt.
