    Bakes faster than banana bread. Made 2 double recipes, but instead of doubling the butter substitute coconut oil for the other half. Same for flour substitute half with rolled oats. Moist, chewy, delicious.

    This is not my favorite banana brownie recipe. The first time I made it, they came out very dense. I blamed it on the bananas being too ripe. Then tried it again to the same effect—even though I used bananas that were just-right-over-ripe. I liked the simplicity of this recipe but the extra effort of others is well worth the payout. I won’t be making these again.

    Amazing! Will be making these again (and again!). Would also be good with cream cheese frosting if you don’t want to make the caramel frosting.

    Love these! I followed the advice of another reviewer and cut the powdered sugar, used 3/4 cup instead of a full cup. Turned out great.

    These are delicious and very simple to make. I doubled the recipe to fill a 13x19 pan and they came out great! Subtle banana flavor, chewy brownie and sweet caramel frosting! Next time I plan to cut back on the powdered sugar a bit or do a thinner layer of frosting as it is extremely sugary and a bit overbearing. Overall an excellent and unexpected treat!!
