    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    2. Place the scallops in salty water to release any traces of sand. Clean thoroughly. Do not discard the shells.
    3. Add the oil to a skillet on medium heat. Saute the shallot until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
