    These turned out great...I followed the recipe and I added the syrup right into the mix, and they made for a great breakfast piece!

    In concept, this recipe sounds great, but in execution, not so much. I’ve made these twice, once mixing in the eggs, as the recipe describes. The second time, I layered the eggs in the batter when putting everything into the muffin tin. Neither was as good as I expected and the flavor and texture fell flat. I’ll stick to just eggs, bacon, and corn muffins in the future.
