Fruit is simply dessert as nature intended. Honey, cinnamon, pomegranate, and orange combine to create a delicious and healthy autumn dessert. Vegan and gluten free friendly.

  • 6 oranges
  • 1 pomegranate (medium-sized)
  • sugar (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup port wine
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon honey

    Directions

    1. Peel the oranges, removing as much as possible of all the white parts and cut into slices.
    2. Place the oranges in the serving bowl.
    3. Add the pomegranate seeds, the sugar, the cinnamon, and the port wine and mix gently. Mix in the cinnamon sticks and honey.
    4. Keep in the fridge until serving.
